Hyundai Starter I Have An '01 Hyundai Accent. Think The Starter Is Out. What Does It Cost To Replace It?

I have an '01 Hyundai Accent. Think the starter is out. What does it cost to replace it? - hyundai starter

I tried to get friends and family for help, but are generally not useful. I must go!

What is the approximate cost to replace a starter for the car at the dealership?

Thank you!

First, it is not hard work, performed a few hours of the basic tools and can in the alley:

The starter is bolted behind the transmission. Here are the steps to do to the job:

1. Disconnect the battery.
2. The airbox and the blower air intake (more than 10 mm screws, remove).
3. Remove the 12mm nut holding the positive battery cable at startup.
4. Remove the starter solenoid valve connector.
5. Remove the two 14mm bolts connecting the starter to the gearbox.
6. The starters in the opening by removing the airbox removal created.
7. Install the new shoe with two pins 14 mm.
8. Replace the positive cable from the battery to the starter motor with the nut 12 mm.
9. Connect the starter solenoid.
10. Reinstall the air box and the blower air intake.
11. Connect the battery.

The owner even if the business will be acquired for the parties, 50.00-75.00.

With the work rate to 40.00 per hour and estimated approximately 2 hours for work 80.00

Was 130.00 to 155.00.
